Craziness in Canada

I was at a Federal government building yesterday teaching ESL when I heard about the Parliament shooting.  A student told us what was transpiring as she received updates.  There was a point where the news was that all govt. buildings would be shut down across Cananda.  I don't think that ever became the official word, but we quit class a bit early so a couple of my students who work in the security dept. at Oceans and Fisheries could get back on the job and so I could go home before the alleged lock-down.

What happened yesterday and Monday right outside of Montreal has really got everyone shook up.

It's nice to have a little sweetness to the mess, so here's this which is quite touching.
