Lookie what I made!

When I was a kid, I dreamed about a job designing greeting cards. With the amazing InDesign, my dreams became a reality this weekend when I made these.

I made them for my mom to use in PNG. As far as I know, there are no greeting card companies who have a pidgin line, so I thought that these could be useful for her. She chose the verse, and I made a set of four different designs (these two are my favs).

I have a feeling I could get a little crazy with this. (Dear Mark, we might possibly need to increase our printer ink budget. Just saying!)

About a boy

See this gun?? It has been the object of Joel's delight recently. It has also been the cause of some tears (when sharing it was required), some panic (when he believed the bullets to be lost), and one night, it got him sent a little early to bed
before Mark finished the chapter he was reading to the kids. I told him to go on in to bed and that I would be there soon to tuck him in. When I walked in a couple minutes later, this is how I found him.
And despite the less-than-ideal lighting, I couldn't stop snapping pictures of his sweet sleeping body parts.Hands that still have dimples.
Chubby little four-year old toes.
And those tanned summer legs.
It's going so fast, I just want to remember.
And there's the gun. Worth way more than we paid for it.
