If you don't feel like going out for a run or jumping rope today, just think of Mark and of how much he would love to go for a run or a swim today. Maybe you'll be motivated by that. I was, this morning, when I considered for a moment not dragging myself out of bed to get my workout in before the kids got up.
When you experience difficulties physically, it's a little wake-up call to not take things for granted. (I know that even though one might take the very best care of oneself by eating right and exercising and getting enough sleep, that sickness and injury still happen. Of that I am fully aware. But doing the right things certainly can't hurt, and they may prevent some suffering.) So this is just a little friendly reminder to *prendre soin de toi. I'm certainly more inspired today to move my body and to power it up with the right foods (see Eating to Live for a couple new recipes).
Sometimes, though, you just need a donut!
